About Dr. Goren

David Goren was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and presently resides in Newport Beach, California with his wife. Dr. Goren is father to five children and 2 stepchildren... 3 boys and 4 girls... and has 5 grandchildren.

Dr. Goren majored in the science of Biology and received a Bachelor of Arts degree and his Dental Degree from Temple University. He achieved his certificate in anesthesiology after serving an internship at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles.

Dr. Goren has served the greater Lakewood community for 32 years. He has two successful dental practices, one in Lakewood and the other in Long Beach.

In 1992, Lakewood honored Dr. Goren by presenting him with the President's Perpetual Award. In 1997, Dr. Goren also received the Charles Wright Award as "Businessman of the Year". He also received the City Council Award of Merit from Lakewood's City Council in 1993.

Dr. Goren is presently serving on the boards of Rotary, where he is President, The Boys and Girls Club and The Boy Scouts of America. He is also a member of Centro C.H.A. (Community Hispanic Association).
